RINGO is the first Japanese studio album by South Korean girl group ITZY. It was released on October 18, 2023 with "RINGO" serving as the title track.
The physical version of the album comes in eight versions: Standard, Limited A, Limited B, and five member-specific limited MIDZY editions.
Background[]
During the Japan leg of the "CHECKMATE" World Tour, in February 2023, ITZY revealed their plans for their first full-length Japanese studio album as part of a surprise announcement.
On August 7, 2023, ITZY posted the photos with caption: "Bring me an Apple!" on their social media, announcing their Japanese comeback.[1][2] It was later revealed that they would be releasing their first Japanese full-length album RINGO on October 18.[3]
"Trust Me (MIDZY) (Japanese Ver.)", "RINGO" and "Sugar-holic" were pre-released on August 30, September 27 and October 11, 2023 respectively.
