MIDZY (믿지 midji) is the official fandom name of South Korean girl group ITZY.
Founding[]
On July 8, 2019, several weeks before their comeback with IT'z ICY, an image was released on ITZY's official Twitter account announcing the group's fandom name. [1]
In January 2021, an official fan club of the same name was founded, with a paid membership to access several online and offline benefits.
Meaning[]
The name comes from the Korean word 믿어, which means trust. It is believed that the word MIDZY means that the fans trust ITZY and ITZY trusts the fans in return. [2]

- JYP Fan's: the notice board for official news release, featuring a small space for the group to share messages to fanclub members, although it was barely used. The website will shut down in July 2024, as its content was moved to the new app, FANS.
- VLIVE: The broadcast channel, which also featured a community space and staff board for various news. Closed in December 2022.
- bubble for JYPnation: A mobile app launched in 2020 for JYP artists, where ITZY communicate with fans in a one-on-one layout.
