Lia (리아) is a South Korean singer and rapper under JYP Entertainment. She is the main vocalist and sub-rapper of the South Korean girl group ITZY.
She is a former SM Entertainment trainee.
Career
2019-present: ITZY
On January 20 2019 Lia was officially revealed as a member of ITZY through Prologue Film. Her first teaser photo with the group was released 4 days later, along with the individual being released on the 29th. Lia made her debut with the group on February 11 furthermore.[1][2] Later on February 14, Lia graduated from School of Performing Arts Seoul.[3]
Sometime later in November, Lia and Super Junior's Leeteuk were chosen as MC's for the 9th Gaon Chart Music Awards. It was revealed on November 28, and to be held on Janurary 8, at Jamsil Arena.[4]
